WORSLEY Plant has been acquired by the firm’s operations director, Adrian Nixon.

Adrian’s journey began as an agricultural engineer, where he developed a passion for mechanical engineering. After a decade in the agricultural sector, Adrian sought new challenges in the plant and construction industry, where he maintained mobile equipment including crushers, screens, and excavators.

His career at Worsley Plant began as a field service manager from 2005 to 2008. He then served as aftersales manager until 2011 before being promoted to general manager. In 2017, Adrian took on the role of operations director and shareholder, managing the daily operations and leading a team of 20-25 professionals.

In 2021, Adrian and former owner Sean Heron agreed to initiate the acquisition process, ensuring a ‘seamless’ transition and continued growth for the attachments specialist.

Sean will remain involved as a mentor and sales director. “I have full confidence in Adrian’s ability to lead Worsley Plant into a promising future,” he stated.

Adrian Nixon will now lead Worsley Plant into a new era as MD and owner, focusing on the sale of excavator attachments and enhancing the company’s offerings in crushing and screening solutions.

“We are thrilled about this new chapter for Worsley Plant Ltd,” said Adrian. “I am committed to building on the strong foundation laid by Sean and the team, and I look forward to driving growth and innovation in our industry. We will be exploring new products and expanding our customer outreach initiatives.”
