Speedy Hire virtual event aims to drive discussions on green targets

SPEEDY Hire has announced the return of its Speedy Hire Live Sustainability Summit 2024.

Taking place on Thursday November 28, the move follows the success of last year’s Net Zero event. This year’s summit, themed ‘Guiding the Industry Toward Sustainability Excellence’, will aim to drive discussions on how the industry can advance towards achieving green targets.

The virtual event, hosted by Sky Sports presenter Simon Thomas, will include a keynote speech from Speedy Hire’s ESG director, Amelia Woodley. It will also feature contributions from senior industry figures including Coleen Theron, CEO and founder of Ardea International, Michael Sheffield, commercial director at AFC Energy, and Olly Lawder, senior strategy director at Revolt.

The event will consist of a mix of presentations and discussion panels, covering subject matters including decarbonisation, sustainability reporting, eco-innovation, and the government’s role in reaching net zero.
