THE Mecalac Group is releasing a new range of wheel excavator loaders. The 12-Series comprises the 12MSX, 12MTX and 12MRX models.
Conceived, designed and manufactured in the manufacturer’s Annecy plant in France, the 12-Series is said to feature the ‘most compact excavators in the world’.
The 12-Series is a continuation of Mecalac’s 12MTX model, with a modern design and technical improvements.
The 12MSX retains the same architecture as the 12MTX, the same compactness (2,710mm/8’9” turning diameter), the same 0.75m loader bucket, and can lift up to 4t/8,818 lbs at 360°. Its 55 kW (75 hp) engine requires no AdBlue.
The 12MTX, meanwhile, is said to retain its ‘extreme compactness’ along with its large loader bucket capacity, an 85 kW (115 hp) engine, and lifting performance of up to 4t/8,818 lbs at 360°. The list of optional features has been extended to include a float boom function, tiltrotator and joystick steering.
The third model in the range – the 12MRX – has a more powerful attachment drive pump, wide heavy duty axles, travel speeds of up to 40 km/h (25 mph) and greater tractive effort. Most of the new productivity options are standard on the 12MRX.
“The 12-Series confirms our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction,” said Alexandre Marchetta, president of the Mecalac Group. “We are proud to offer three new versions of our iconic excavator, each designed to meet specific objectives while respecting the quality and safety standards for which Mecalac is renowned. The 12-Series stands out for its innovative features and is our key asset for all urban worksites.”
