STAR Platforms has been re-accredited for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015.
The provider of powered access hire said that the re-accreditation reinforces its commitment to maintaining excellent standards in quality management, health and safety, and environmental sustainability.
The audit, conducted by the British Assessment Bureau over three days, included inspections of multiple operational depots across the country. The outcome was highly positive, with no non-conformances or corrective actions.
Del Patterson, QHSE manager at Star Platforms, said, “The re-accreditation process was challenging, but it was clear that the systems we have in place are working effectively. The auditors were impressed with our commitment to high standards, and this success shows that we are serious about our responsibilities to our clients, employees, and the environment.”
The ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates that Star Platforms has a robust quality management system in place, which focuses on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. The ISO 45001:2018 accreditation emphasises the company’s commitment to safeguarding the health and safety of its employees and clients, while ISO 14001:2015 underscores its dedication to minimising environmental impact.
Steve Simmons, joint MD of Star Platforms, added, “Gaining these ISO standards is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team. These certifications highlight our commitment to delivering outstanding service, maintaining a safe workplace, and prioritising sustainability across all operations.”
