TAKEUCHI has added 4WS with crab-mode and mudguards as an option on the new TB395W wheeled excavator, with customers across Scotland taking up the new version.
4WS/4WS-crab and 2WS are said to provide enhanced versatility on sites, with improved traction and manoeuvrability where space is limited.
Takeuchi said the TB395W combines powerful excavating performance and higher travel speeds for both on and off-road applications. Other options include outriggers with independent control.
The model comes with Auto Cruise as standard. Operators can set and adjust travel speeds by button or toggle switch on the optional, multi-function grip.
The TB395W features a two-piece boom for greater clearance between the bucket and dozer. A ‘deluxe’ high-back suspension seat, adjustable arm rests, low-effort pilot controls, and integrated foot rests are designed to boost operator comfort.
Chris Bushell, Takeuchi UK sales manager, said, “The new TB395W from Takeuchi has so far proved to be a very popular upgrade since its launch last year. Takeuchi have built a good reputation for rubber ducks over 20 years and this latest 3-Series model really sets a new standard.
“Customers like the new styled automotive cab and two tool-box storage compartments, plus the added visibility with reverse and side cameras. For a 10-tonne it’s still very compact in overall size and packed full of enhanced features as standard including two-piece boom.”
