Plantworx 2025 to feature ‘Shared Dig Zone’ for first time

ORGANISERS of PlantWorx 2025 have announced plans to allow companies to conduct live demonstrations without having to book a large demo plot for the entire event.

Organised by the Construction Equipment Association (CEA), Plantworx will run from September 23-25, 2025, at the Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire.

The new ‘Shared Dig Zone’ feature is described as a ‘flexible, cost-effective’ approach that enables exhibitors to showcase their machinery and technology in action through 45-minute slots in a dedicated zone, with a 15-minute setup time before each session. A zone manager will assist and organise the demonstrations.

PlantWorx operations director Simon Frere-Cook said, “PlantWorx has always been about bringing machinery to life through live demonstrations, and it’s what sets us apart. As we head into 2025, we are seeing more demand for ‘flexible’ demo plots.

“To ensure everyone has a chance to get involved, we’ve introduced the ‘Shared Dig Zone,’ which allows companies to showcase their equipment if they don’t have a dedicated plot on their main stand. This idea is great because it allows smaller companies or those with limited space to participate and demonstrate their machinery in a real-world environment.

“It also provides attendees with a broader range of demonstrations to experience. This new feature adds flexibility, making it easier for companies to participate and demonstrate their latest innovations without committing to a large plot for the entire event duration.”

The package offers a 45-minute slot each day in the Shared Dig Zone, access to a PA system for commentary (with the exhibitor providing the script), secure storage throughout the event, and two crowd barrier covers for the Zone, which the exhibitor needs to supply.
