CHRIS Cartwright has been appointed European technical and sales manager for UNIC mini cranes distributor, UNIC Cranes Europe.
He will work directly with UNIC Cranes dealers across Europe and the UAE to provide sales and technical support as well as aftercare to over 30 distributors.
With 22 years of experience in the crane industry, Chris’s background includes field service and maintenance, technical support, design and fabrication roles. In 2011, he transitioned to RaycoWylie as a service engineer, focusing on the technical development of products whilst working directly with distributors and customers.
Over the years, his role evolved at RaycoWylie, resulting in his appointment as the UK engineering manager and quality lead in 2019.
Chris Cartwright said, “Over the years UNIC Cranes Europe has established itself as a leader in the compact crane market and with its recent product development, the company is demonstrating that it is committed to product innovation in the current market.
“I am currently working closely with UNIC Furukawa in Japan to advance the technical development of both new and existing UNIC products, with the aim of enhancing the UNIC cranes range. Additionally, I am looking forward to liaising with the UNIC dealer network to identify new opportunities for product development and expansion into new markets.
“I will be actively seeking real-time feedback from our distributors and sharing the feedback directly with the development team in Japan. This collaborative effort will ensure that UNIC Cranes continue to evolve in alignment with the needs of customers and markets across Europe and the UAE.”
