Speedy Hire awarded gold membership of The Social Recruitment Advocacy Group

SPEEDY Hire has joined The Social Recruitment Advocacy Group (SRAG), which facilitates the collaboration of like-minded organisations to address societal challenges and needs.

Speedy Hire was awarded gold member status due to its record of achievement in social value.

The SRAG was convened by PeoplePlus in 2022 and features an alignment of over 70 organisations and employers who recognise the value of social recruitment. The group addresses employment barrier themes and harnesses its collective power to tackle these issues.

Speedy Hire recently became the first company in the hire industry to work with the organisation Bright Futures to create job opportunities for victims of modern slavery.

Kenny Boyle, group MD at PeoplePlus, said, “Being a Gold member signifies Speedy Hire’s remarkable dedication to social value and social recruitment – identifying them as trailblazers in the pursuit of meaningful change. They have not only established an inclusive and diverse workplace but have also implemented innovative and effective social recruitment strategies.”

Amelia Woodley, ESG director at Speedy Hire, added, “Our partnership with The Social Recruitment Advocacy Group aligns perfectly with our mission to lead the industry in creating profound, lasting change. We are committed to continuing our work towards an inclusive and diverse workplace, and we are excited about the positive impact this will have on individuals and communities. We are dedicated to contributing to a future where every individual has the opportunity to thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.”
