Finning dealerships celebrate ASSC scheme’s two-year anniversary

Finning dealership event

FINNING UK & Ireland recently welcomed its regional network of authorised sales and service centres (ASSC) to Caterpillar’s Desford site for a three-day event as the scheme celebrated its second year.

Partners in attendance included LCF Engineering, RC Dalgliesh, Cooks Midlands, Bennie Pant, Norris Plant, Howard Plant, Oakley Machinery, and Frank Sutton. The latest dealer to join the network, Rundle & Co Agri, was also there. The Launceston-based firm will support customers in south west England with any Cat compact machine requirements.

The continued expansion of the ASSC network is said to follow an increase in demand for Cat compact machines across all sectors.

Finning dealers

Nadine Craddock, ASSC dealer manager at Finning UK & Ireland, said, “The feedback we’ve had from customers is that being able to deal with someone who is experienced and on their doorstep is something they really value, together with the fast turnaround on machines, which the ASSCs are able to provide.”

The three-day conference, titled ‘Winning Together in 2024’, saw the regional dealers take part in a series of activities, product support sessions, and focus groups to understand what is working well and look at where Finning could offer additional support.

Finning team members also joined the event to present sessions with a focus on aftermarket, including machine connectivity, oil sampling, warranty, and operation planning.

Nadine added, “As we celebrated the two-year anniversary of the dealer network, it was important to catch up with the dealers and give them an opportunity to share their thoughts on what is working well and where Finning can provide further support. I was really pleased with how the event went and the level of engagement from the dealers. We look forward to continuing to work together to grow and serve our customer base as well as possible.”
