HITACHI Construction Machinery made a welcome return to ScotPlant two years ago with a prime spot in the event’s new entrance avenue – and the firm will be back there again this year with a first-class line-up of machines.
Taking pride of place will be the latest addition to the Hitachi ZX-7 range of compact excavators: the ZX95US-7.
Compared to the previous generation ZX85-6, the Stage V machines are said to offer 10% greater stability and 4% greater digging force. Operators can control fuel efficiency by using the new ECO gauge, which is visible on the multi-functional colour LCD eight-inch monitor.
The ‘most spacious’ Hitachi cab yet boasts synchronised motion of the seat and console, improved pedal layout, and ‘ample’ legroom. The hi-res anti-glare screen is easier to view, and the refreshed layout is designed to offer a clear display and desirable functionality such as air conditioning, DAB+ radio and Bluetooth.
The machine on display at ScotPlant will be equipped with a range of attachments.
Also in attendance at The Royal Highland Centre will be the ZX19U-6, ZX130LC-7, ZX135W-7, ZX350LC-7 and ZW180-7 wheel loaders.
Furthermore, Hitachi will be demonstrating its mixed fleet telematics platform CTFleet Link.
