Intriguing mix: Armcon to celebrate new dealerships at ScotPlant 2024

CONCRETE equipment provider Armcon will arrive at ScotPlant 2024 following a ‘transformative’ period marked by strategic re-evaluation and expansion.

Last year, the business revealed it set out to ‘diversify its offerings and solidify its position as the premier provider of concrete equipment’ in the UK. The initial phase of this plan has been implemented, highlighted by the acquisition of two significant dealerships.

Armcon has been appointed as the authorised Terex Proall dealer for the northern region of the UK and Wales, and also secured the Constmach batching plants and silos dealership for the UK market.

Sean Warburton, Armcon’s MD, said, “We are very excited about these new dealerships as they enable us to provide our customers with the most advanced and superior equipment in the concrete market, building on our decades-long journey from precast concrete to the forefront of concrete delivery advancement.”

Armcon said it recognises the importance of investing in the future of the industry by welcoming apprentices into its fold. Under the guidance of seasoned engineers, the firm explained these apprentices undergo rigorous training to become the next generation of leaders in the concrete industry.

The company’s facility in Poynton, south of Manchester, houses over £1 million worth of parts for volumetric concrete mixers as well as workshop and service bays, Armcon’s offering includes drive-in services, machine remanufacturing, and routine maintenance inspections

At ScotPlant 2024, Armcon will be exhibiting the ProAll volumetric concrete mixer, which it described as a ‘game-changer’ in precision mixing, providing ‘unparalleled efficiency and versatility’.

The business will also be showcasing its concrete batching plants. Visitors will be able to explore solutions designed to streamline the batching process, ensuring ‘accuracy and consistency in every mix’.
