HRN gearing up for ‘sensational’ event

The Kubota RT250-2

THE HRN and Agritrac stand at ScotPlant 2024 will be the place to find the latest product innovations from major manufacturers Kubota and Hyundai.

On the Kubota side, two of the newer models on display will be the RT250-2 wheel loader and KTH4815 compact telehandler.

With a machine weight of 2,400kg for the canopy version, and 2,605kg for the cabin version, the RT250-2 is described as a ‘powerful, versatile and manoeuvrable’ machine. Boasting a Kubota original engine, the model features a heavy-duty chassis with hydraulic tank enclosed within the frame to provide additional counterweight.

With an articulation of 45°, and an oscillating angle of 4.0°, the RT250-2 is designed to drive through tight spaces.

The KTH4815 telehandler, meanwhile, has an overall width of 1.6m and an overall height of below 2m. The model is capable of achieving a maximum lift height of 4.8m.

The machine is powered by an EU Stage V-compliant Kubota engine. Features include hydrostatic transmission, heavy duty axles, and a smart communication system.

Also on display will be a range of Hyundai construction equipment that covers a multitude of industries. The line-up will include the HW100A, HW140A and the HX220.

The HW100A marked HD Hyundai’s entry into the ten-tonne wheeled excavator market. Boasting a ‘slim’ counterweight and tail-swing radius of just 1,600mm, the machine has three steering modes: two-wheel, four-wheel, and crab steering. The excavator is powered by a Stage V-compliant Hyundai D34 diesel engine with two-can exhaust aftertreatment, that includes a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR).

The HRN and Agritrac sales team will be on hand to help customers choose the right machine for their needs.

HRN Group MD Mark Proudfoot said, “I think events like ScotPlant are unbelievably important. Whilst we are in a competitive environment, it’s impressive to see those that are in your peer group as well as all our customers.

“It’s a sensational event; thoroughly enjoyable for everyone that goes along.”
