DRAGON Equipment is launching the CR450 Diesel Crusher at the Executive Hire Show this week.
Designed and built at the firm’s production facility in Suffolk, the newest addition to the range of compact crushers is powered by a Kubota D722 3-cylinder water cooled 19hp diesel engine.
The firm explained that the higher torque provided by this engine enables the CR450 Crusher to power through ‘even the hardest of materials’ at a higher speed for a sustained period. This, combined with the 33 litre fuel tank, means the machine can keep crushing in excess of 12 hours.
Featuring a 460mm x 205mm mouth aperture, the CR450 Crusher’s Hardox jaw is the largest in the range to date. Dragon Equipment added that its funnel is designed to be loaded by a mini-excavator, helping operators handle larger jobs quickly and efficiently.
With a total weight of under 1,500kgs, it can be loaded onto a trailer with an excavator to minimise transportation costs.
The CR450 Crusher features all-terrain tracks and an increased width of 970mm. Features includes the instant jaw adjustment for crush size from 3-55mm, anti-stall and the auto reverse. There is also the Dragon-designed fold up conveyor for ease of storage and transportation.
