SUNBELT Rentals has made a major investment in its accommodation business unit after working with distributor Briggs Equipment to acquire 15 Hyster H16XD6 forklifts.
The heavy-duty forklifts are said to boast a ‘strong’ framework and offer an increased litre capacity.
Ian Needham, director of accommodation at Sunbelt Rentals, said, “We are thrilled about the addition of 15 H16XD6 lift trucks. The decision to partner with Briggs Equipment and Hyster was carefully considered, taking into account their excellent safety and reliability track records, as well as their dedication to providing comfortable equipment for operators.”
Corinna Davies, key account manager at Briggs Equipment, added, “The specialist container handlers are manufactured by Hyster and feature the latest technology and ergonomic features to ensure a more comfortable, safe and productive working environment for operators. The trucks are also Stage V-compliant to meet industry regulations and support Sunbelt Rentals’ strategic objectives to invest in green technology that reduces harmful emissions.”
