‘Demolition Dino’ leaves a lasting impression

JR Brown Plant Hire, a growing name in Scotland’s crushing and demolition industry, has snapped up an FRD VM19ER rotating pulveriser.

The product, known on site as the ‘Demolition Dino,’ has already left an impression with clients. Equipped with a range of features, the pulveriser is designed to excel in both primary and secondary demolition, making it a ‘game-changer’ on sites where noise and vibrations cannot be tolerated.

Mr Brown said, “I thought I was going to have to use the hammer to break up the biggest columns and ring beams before munching the wire out, but it ate them up – six strands of two-inch wire – and the cutters went through the wire almost as if I had missed them.”

The FRD VM19ER boasts a compact 360° rotation module and a design built to withstand heavy-duty demolition. Features include interchangeable cutting blades and a wide jaw opening and crushing area. The high flow speed valve is said to ensure a ‘lightning-fast cycle time’, while the fully protected reverse cylinder and easily accessible hydraulics underscore its user-friendly design.

“We are thrilled to supply JR Brown Plant Hire another market-leading attachment; they join the ranks of our valued customers who have invested in the power of our FRD attachments,” said Callum Mackintosh at Scottish FRD Furukawa dealer HHH Equipment. “This equipment represents a new era of precision and production in demolition attachments, and we are proud to contribute to JR Brown Plant Hire’s continued success and growth.”
