HRN and Diona Construction join forces to raise awareness of breast cancer

SCOTLAND’S Kubota dealer HRN has teamed up with Diona Construction to develop a pink mini-excavator to help spread awareness of cancer.

Diona recently bought ten new Kubota KX018-4 mini-excavators and, in a display of solidarity and support for breast cancer awareness, requested if both HRN and Kubota could develop a special ‘pink digger’ to reflect the company’s commitment to aiding those affected by this health issue.

Cancer has touched the lives of several staff members at Diona Construction, making this collaboration especially meaningful. As part of efforts to raise awareness, HRN, Diona Construction and Kubota have come together to make a strong statement about the importance of early detection and support for those impacted by cancer and breast cancer.

Suzanne Anderson, director at Diona Construction, said, “Cancer has impacted our Diona Construction family, and we are grateful to HRN and Kubota for their support in both providing market leading mini-excavators and supporting our mission to raise awareness of this devastating health issue.

“Our business covers the length and breadth of Scotland and this pink digger will travel to many local communities, serving as a powerful reminder that we are all in this together and the importance of early detection.”

With five depots throughout Scotland, Diona Construction boasts more than 160 personnel working on contracts and is a provider of civil engineering projects and turnkey telecommunications and power utility infrastructure.

Andy Wilson, key account manager at HRN, added, “HRN and Kubota are delighted to help support Diona Construction Ltd by highlighting breast cancer awareness. My mother had breast cancer in 1995, which was caught at a regular screening and luckily fully recovered. It affects so many people, so helping raise awareness is vitally important for everyone.”
