SUNBELT Rentals UK and Ireland has invested over £1.2 million in the past year to expand its fleet of eco-friendly welfare vans.
The new fleet of 40 custom tailored vans can be powered and heated directly with HVO fuel
The move forms part of the hire giant’s commitment to reducing the environmental footprint of customers through its ‘Our Planet’ sustainable action plan, which seeks to drive positive change across the rental industry.
Chris Hanley, service centre manager, said, “We’re thrilled to release our new fleet of eco-friendly welfare vans to the industry. They will be fully equipped with technology to reduce carbon footprint while still ensuring they’re fully equipped and comfortable for our customers.”
The new eco welfare vans, boasting a ‘lightweight and robust’ structure, are said to guarantee customers will have comfortable seating, plenty of workspace and restroom facilities.
