JCB’s smallest telehandler set for Scottish debut

JCB’S smallest telehandler will make its Scottish debut on the Scot JCB stand at the Royal Highland Show later this month.

Measuring just 1.56m wide and 1.8m high, the Loadall 514-40 is capable of lifting 1,450kg and will take 1,300kg to a lift height of 4m, and pick up more than half a tonne at full forward reach.

Combined with four-wheel steer manoeuvrability and all-round visibility, the machine can access confined working spaces and be transported to remote work sites by a 3.5t towing capacity pick-up or SUV.

Scot Agri will showcase the model alongside its bigger Loadall telehandler siblings, the 532-60 and 542-70; JCB TM420S and TM320S telescopic wheeled loaders; the Teletruk telescopic forklift and 403 ultra-compact wheeled loader; a JCB engine-powered diesel generator; and a Fastrac 4220 iCON.
