Countdown begins to ScotPlant 2024

WITH less than a year to go, preparations for ScotPlant 2024 are being ramped up. The premier event for Scotland’s plant industry returns to the Royal Highland Centre, near Edinburgh, on April 26 and 27, 2024.

Equipment giant LiuGong has reserved a large central plot, marking the ScotPlant debut for the firm’s Chinese-built machines.

Long-time exhibitor Liebherr has extended its stand to showcase a model from the manufacturer’s range of cranes, while waste and recycling equipment specialist CRJ Services has invested in a plot double the size of the one it had in 2022. Rapidly growing Lanark-based plant training provider GoldCast Academy has also committed to a significantly larger stand.

Prinoth dealer Bradleys will make its ScotPlant debut with a stand in the popular entrance avenue, which proved a welcome addition to ScotPlant last time out.

Another ScotPlant debutant will be tracked carrier provider PowerBully, while Brian James Trailers returns to the show for the first time in a while, fresh from winning a King’s Award for Enterprise.

They will be a joined by a whole host of familiar exhibitors including Marubeni-Komatsu, Blue, SANY, Rototilt, Steelwrist, engcon, Scot JCB, MV Commercial, McCloskey, and many, many others.

ScotPlant 2024 follows the tremendously successful ScotPlant 2022, which cemented the show’s reputation as the event where deals get done. More than 5,300 unique visitors and over 200 exhibitors came together for what turned out to be an incredible two-day showcase for the nation’s plant industry.

2024 will deliver more of the same, with early indications suggesting the event is on course to be even bigger this time around.

At the time of going to press, negotiations were ongoing with several other major manufacturers regarding potentially appearing at ScotPlant for the first time. Stay tuned for further exciting announcements and look out for the revamped ScotPlant website, which will be going live in the coming weeks.
