GENESIS Equipment Sales, a new company under the Ballyvesey Holdings Group, has announced its launch as the only UK authorised distributor of XCMG access equipment.
The company will offer a range of powered access solutions such as telehandlers, forklifts, scissor lifts, articulated and telescopic booms to businesses across the UK.
The main brand of equipment sold by Genesis Equipment Sales will be XCMG, a Chinese manufacturer of construction machinery.
“We’re excited to introduce Genesis Equipment Sales as a new player in the UK access equipment market,” said MD Mark Kennedy. “Our partnership with XCMG, a leading manufacturer in the industry, allows us to offer a wide range of powered access equipment to our customers.”
Genesis revealed it aims to provide customers with a range of products tailored to their requirements.
“We understand that businesses require access equipment that is both reliable and efficient, and we’re committed to delivering just that,” Mark added.
Ballyvesey Holdings’ portfolio includes Sleater Plant in Ireland, Norwest Plant, and TDL Equipment.
Edwin van der Laar, XCMG´s sales director for MEWPs, added, “We are proud to start this new journey with the Ballyvesey Group and we trust that Genesis Equipment Sales will drive our brand to a higher level in the UK access industry. The foundation of our partnership is built on two strong organisations, a great team of professionals, high quality products, tailor-made financial solutions, and flexibility to adapt to local market requirements.
“We will aim to reach new heights with a down-to-earth mentality adding more value to the UK access industry. Over the past 12 months, the first booms have found their way to construction sites in the UK, and the feedback has been very positive.”
Hans Aarse, XCMG’s European business development director, commented, “Our agreement with Genesis Equipment Sales is the outcome of a very challenging period over the past 12 month since we became active in the UK to define our definite route to market for the UK territory. Numerous plant hire companies have been working successfully with our products since and we got very positive response.
“It’s clear that our product line did not stay unnoticed by high quality access rental companies who approached us directly to do business with them. However, the time has now come to give the UK market what it deserves in terms of close by commercial and technical support from a highly experienced company. We are more then convinced that Genesis Equipment Sales, being a fully owned subsidiary of the Ballyvesey Holdings, will reach great heights with our products.
“Of course, from our side, we will support their activities by supplying them from our warehouses in The Netherlands where we keep an average stock of over 500 units in all varieties and heights we can offer. Apart from that we are in the process of launching many new models in the coming years which will all be based on what the market is asking. Quality, durability, sustainability, alongside with availability will be key in our approach.”
