‘Rising demand’ in Scotland prompts Rockbreakers to expand portfolio

ROCKBREAKERS UK has told Project Plant that the firm is expanding its fleet of hydraulic breakers and attachments to meet a ‘rising demand’ for the purchase and hire of attachments throughout Scotland.

The business offers a range of attachments including augers, combi cutters, compactors, grapples, and small, medium and heavy breakers. Rockbreakers’ portfolio also includes pile crushers, pulverisers and sheet piling hammers ranging from 1.5t excavators up to 50t diggers.

The recent addition of a Trevi Benne franchise has expanded the range of demolition and recycling attachments, which also covers forestry attachments – the first time Rockbreakers has operated in this sector – and includes root stump cutters, tree shears, and wood splitters.

MD Jason Easton said, “We have been supplying hydraulic breakers and attachments throughout Scotland since we first opened our doors in 2005. As an ambitious and progressive company, we have reacted to changing and increasing demand and have expanded our stock of hydraulic breakers and attachments both for hire and for sale.

“We have also just opened a new depot in Newcastle, which gives us a robust solution to improve distribution throughout the northern areas of England, and allows our Warrington depot to concentrate more on supplying the southern areas of England.”
