YANMAR CE has ramped up its sustainability offering with the launch of its new Certified Used Program, which vows to give a second life to used construction equipment.
The manufacturer said the initiative offers the same level of performance, quality and operating experience that customers can expect of new machines.
At a ‘highly competitive price’, Yanmar explained that it makes financial sense to balance lower costs with the benefits of maintenance traceability, genuine parts and warranty programs.
Only machines with 2,500 or fewer operating hours are selected for the scheme. These units are inspected by certified experts to ensure the high functioning of all aspects of the machine’s hydraulics, mechanicals and electrics. Yanmar added that a ‘rigorous’ 100+ step check leaves ‘little space for details to slip through the cracks’.
