BOBCAT has announced it had added to its quick coupler portfolio with a full selection of new mechanical pin grabber systems available for the manufacturer’s entire mini-excavator line-up.
The new mechanical couplers are said to offer ‘increased comfort and productivity’, with a single visit design allowing operators to change between attachments ‘quickly, easily and safely’ on jobsites.
Bobcat said coupler systems like this can convert mini-excavators into tool-carriers, enabling operators to switch between buckets and a range of other attachments within minutes.
The reversibility of the new mechanical pin grabber couplers also allows operators to work closer to walls or under pipes, while pin-on attachments are described as ‘simple to attach’, which increases the adaptability of machines.
A hook-shaped engineering design means the bucket does not fall when unhooked.
