LIEBHERR has unveiled the LH 26 M Timber Litronic, designed for timber handling.
The manufacturer said that thanks to an ‘extremely compact design and exceptional manoeuvrability’, the model is predestined for work in sawmills and timber operations with limited space.
Boasting an operating weight of between 23,500 and 26,000kg, the machine’s engine power of 125 kW provides the system with a high torque.
Due to a small front and rear swing radius, the model can be completely swivelled even in tight locations, Liebherr added, with the ‘minimal’ contour of the right front in particular meaning that work can be carried out close to the sorting string or pile, as this is always within the width of the undercarriage.
The LH 26 M Timber comes equipped with all-wheel steering as standard, which is said to increase driving stability. The automatic steering reversal guarantees the correct steering direction at all times.
