JOHN H McNae Ltd, the authorised dealer for Bobcat in Scotland’s central belt, will present a range of equipment at ScotPlant 2022 including the new R-Series TL30.70 telehandler and new Bobcat light compaction range.
The Tarbolton firm’s stand display will be completed with a selection of Bobcat mini-excavators including the E10z, E17 and E27 models.
The TL30.70 has a maximum lift capacity of three tonne and maximum lift height of 7m. It is part of the new generation R-Series telehandler range, one of a choice of 12 models with Stage V engines, covering lifting heights from 6 to 18m with maximum lifting capacities between 2.6 and 4.1 tonne.
In common with all Bobcat R-Series telehandlers, the TL30.70 features a new cab offering a central control panel for optimised 360° ergonomics. A new five-inch LCD display provides interactive and streamlined information, including the feed from the rear camera.
R-Series telehandlers boast a newly configured transmission system, said to provide ‘enhanced smoothness’. Operations are boosted by the combination of the boom positioning system, the new updated joystick, the inching function, and improved visibility from the cab.
As with all new Bobcat telehandlers, the TL30.70 comes with a three-year warranty (or 3,000 hours) on each machine as standard from the factory, extendable as an option to five years and 5,000 hours.
The new light compaction range from Bobcat will also be on show at the Royal Highland Centre. Bobcat said machine specifications include technologies that allow ‘maximum performance’ without compromising on comfort, safety and simplicity. The range comprises seven different product families and will ultimately offer 37 models, from vibratory rammers weighing 29kg up to 2.6-tonne tandem rollers.
The range also includes reversible vibratory plates, hydrostatic plates, walk behind rollers, and trench rollers.
