THE first SANY SY500H 50-tonne excavator sold in the UK is to be put to work on an oil rig decommissioning project in Methil, Fife.
CessCon Decom purchased the excavator through SANY’s direct sales and support route in Scotland. Leading the purchasing process was former AB2000 owner Adam Bruce, who is now a director at CessCon.
Whilst at AB2000, Adam ran a fleet of SANY diggers and was one of the first people in the UK to purchase the brand.
The machine was delivered to Walkerweld in Glasgow, a subsidiary of CessCon, where it will receive some additional spec before heading off to the jobsite.
