CARLUKE-based Plant Fitter.com has revealed plans to launch a ‘unique’ service on its website whereby customers can log in and view their historical service and safety inspection records.
Managing director Paul Bowerbank told Project Plant the move is part of the company’s expansion plans. Plant Fitter.com was established in 2012. The business, which employs six people, offers a range of services including installations, maintenance, repairs and servicing of plant machinery.
The firm is also the Scottish distributor for Sure-Track Europe, which specialises in tracking systems and products such as dash cams and fleet management solutions.
Plant Fitter.com is in the process of launching a dedicated website for hose fittings and repairs.
Despite the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Paul revealed he has been busier than ever since the end of the initial lockdown period last year.
“We’ve now got five vans on the road and I’ve just ordered a sixth, which will be arriving in May,” he revealed. “We cover the whole of Scotland, Northern Ireland and the north of England but I’m planning to grow nationally over the next few years and expand further into England.”
