HHH Equipment appoints business development manager

Andy Martin

ANDY Martin has been appointed business development manager at Inverness-based HHH Equipment.

A newly created position at the company, Andy has been given a remit to grow the business in the south of Scotland and the rest of the UK. He will also be responsible for selling FRD Furukawa products, including hydraulic breakers and demolition attachments, as well as Kemroc products such as drum cutters, patch planers and diamond saws for the cutting of concrete and steel.

He has over 15 years’ experience in the construction equipment sector, most recently as national account manager for EPIROC, a manufacturer of hydraulic excavator attachments.

Andy will work with HHH MD Callum Mackintosh to drive the business forward.

Callum Mackintosh said, “I am delighted to have Andy join the team at HHH Equipment. He has a wealth of experience in selling construction equipment for manufacturers and will be a real asset to the company. With Andy on board and a clear plan for what we want to achieve, I am feeling optimistic about the future.”

Commenting on his new role, Andy added, “Callum is leading the way in the industry with a fantastic portfolio of market-leading products in a range suited to many sectors such as quarrying, scrap, demolition, waste, recycling, forestry, plant hire and civils. I’m excited to be joining HHH Equipment Ltd. Though we’re a small passionate team, we are agile and flexible enough to grab any opportunity and grow the business. I’m really looking forward to my future with HHH Equipment Ltd.”

Mark Lisman, sales manager for FRD Europe, welcomed the move. He said, “We are very happy with Andy’s arrival at HHH Equipment. With his experience and knowledge, we are confident that he will really help our dealer increase FRD market share in Scotland and the rest of the UK.”

HHH revealed the business has ambitions to open another office outside the Highlands within the next year.
