Caterpillar to host virtual waste management and recycling seminar

A range of Caterpillar machines are set to be showcased when the manufacturer hosts a virtual waste management and recycling seminar.

Machines on show have been described as being equipped to deal with the challenging conditions and materials associated with the recycling and waste industry.

“The event is an ideal opportunity to strengthen relationships with other waste and recycling customers from across the EMEA region,” said Jonathan Davies, head of industrial service at Cat equipment supplier Finning UK and Ireland. “The seminar is built upon the successful recipe of our previous year’s events in Malaga, where the Cat team will share best practices and demonstrate the complete portfolio of products and solutions, and how they fit customer’s requirements.

“The safety of our people, dealers and customers is our priority. In line with health and safety recommendations, the exclusive seminar will be held virtually this year, leveraging the latest technology to make this event as interactive and insightful as possible. As well as discussions and workshops surrounding the growth and future of the industry, this event will feature walkarounds of Cat machines from all stages of the waste and recycling process, such as the Cat 340SB excavator and 950M wheel loader.”

The seminar will be hosted on Monday September 14 and Tuesday September 15, with both morning and afternoon sessions.
