VOLVO has introduced a new high-speed driveline option for its L45H and L50H wheel loaders.
Said to offer speeds of up to 50km per hour where conditions allow, the manufacturer explained these machines often find themselves travelling long distances between jobsites, where normal transmission is slow and transporting them by truck can be expensive.
Some applications, including snow clearing or load and carry, have also been tipped to benefit from having a higher operating speed.
With three driveline speeds available, customers can choose the option that best suits their needs and applications.
