MOLSON Group has been appointed sole UK distributor for the Genesis portfolio of attachments.
The Genesis range for the demolition, scrap and recycling industries includes shear attachments for excavators and materials handlers.
Molson Young Plant Sales will represent the brand in Scotland.
Molson said the products have an ‘excellent reputation’ for cutting force and durable build quality. The line-up ranges from the 620Kg GVP 07 shear to the 25t GXT 2555R, which has a closing force of more than 30.400 kN.
Genesis shears feature a hydraulic system that is said to boost cycle times by 30%. Other benefits include a bolt-on piercing tip designed to be replaced in minutes and a dual-glide blade system that accommodates heat expansion when cutting for prolonged periods.
