CRJ Services Ltd is celebrating after reaching a 20-year milestone of providing material processing solutions to the waste and recycling industries.
The business was incorporated in 1999 when the three directors grasped an opportunity to diversify from farming operations into organics recycling for local authorities in Cheshire.
Following a period of green waste processing, CRJ started to hire out the firm’s existing shredders and screeners. Over the next 20 years the hire fleet of machines has expanded and now boasts over 80 shredders, screeners, eddy current separators, air separators and picking stations.
Rob Symons, CRJ Services director said, “We are delighted to be celebrating our twentieth anniversary this year. I’m thankful to our customers and staff for their commitment over the past twenty years, and as a team we are looking forward to pushing on and developing our service further.”
With the addition of Matpro Machinery (now called CRJ Sales) earlier this year, the company began selling new machinery alongside its hire and parts business. CRJ now has the distribution rights for Haas Recycling Systems, Weima, Ecostar and Steelweld within the UK and Ireland.
Ben McQuaid, CRJ Services director added, “We have a lot of people to thank and are hugely grateful for their contribution towards the success of CRJ; our customers, employees (past and present) and our suppliers. As we continue to grow, we look forward to maintaining these core relationships and developing our offerings.”
