GAP’S joint MD Iain Anderson won two prizes at the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland Awards.
He was honoured at the Glasgow ceremony in the categories of Glasgow & West of Scotland Regional Director of the Year, and Family Business Director of the Year.
GAP is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, having been founded by Iain’s father Gordon back in 1969. Iain and brother Douglas have led the business since 1988.
The judges commented, “Iain illustrated well how his extensive experience is shaping his leadership of the GAP Group and he is a leader in his sector, not just of his business. The success of his leadership translates into business growth. Iain has a strong knowledge of his sector and vast experience as a director. This is a successful family business built up over many years, which shows clear evidence of investment in its employees.”
