SANDHURST Mfg has confirmed the sale of its Attachment Rental business to VP.
The deal went through on 9thMay, completing a process commenced in October 2017 when Sandhurst sold its Access Rental division to the Ashtead Group.
Divested now of rental assets, Sandhurst will focus on its core retail and manufacturing businesses, while the retail and rental businesses will continue in close cooperation.
Tim Dean, chairman of Sandhurst Mfg said in a statement, “The loyal staff of the rental division are very safe in the hands of VP, and we wish our friends and colleagues at VP Sandhurst every success.”
The manufacturer has recently commenced production of its design-engineering innovation, the Articulator 5000. A ‘house’ brand of European first quality hammers is also said to be imminent.
