HIRE giant A-Plant has deployed its first six-tonne Dual View dumper from Wacker Neuson to Sellafield.
The swivel skip dumper has been designed to improve visibility and eliminate blind spots. Features include a fully enclosed safety cab and a rotating driving console. Drivers can face the direction of travel whether going backwards or forwards.
A rear-view camera has also been installed as standard, while highlighted steps with signal colour are said to allow for a safe ascent to the driver’s station. The machines went into production earlier this year.
