Bell to adopt centralised approach to service in Scotland

BELL Equipment UK has announced it will deliver more personalised support for customers in Scotland after outlining plans to bring its vehicular support division in-house.

The equipment giant has appointed Gareth Griffiths to the role of service supervisor and he will be the main contact for service north of the border. Parts manager Gordon Jones will be the contact for the Falkirk Depot and parts, while James Dobbie has been named as the region’s product support representative.

The team will be supported by regional sales manager Russell Conn, who joined Bell last year after returning to Scotland from South Africa.

“After assessing the needs and preferences of customers in the region, we’re feeling extremely positive about the decision to bring all Scottish customers’ mechanical after sales support under the Bell Equipment umbrella,” explained Andy Pearce, technical and after sales manager at Bell Equipment. “We believe the ability to offer a holistic service – from the purchase of a Bell machine, to maintenance and ongoing support – will prove to be extremely beneficial to our customers in the region.

“The move will also enable Bell to have greater control over the standards of care and service provided to its customers and will simplify the process of service and repair for the clients themselves.”
