YANMAR’S UK and Ireland dealer network recently attended a training event where they had the opportunity to operate “key” models in the firm’s compact plant portfolio.
Representatives from distributors visited New Forest Farm Machinery in Hampshire, where they received product briefings from the European sales team. Equipment showcased at the event included the C30 compact tracked carrier, wheel loader suite and latest additions to the 2018 excavator range.
Bart Verstraete and David Cockayne, UK sales managers at Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe, commented, “Earlier this year, we made a strategic commitment to expand our presence in the UK and Ireland construction market. Since then, we have appointed nine dealers and launched a number of innovative products. With a new network and rejuvenated focus, hosting an exclusive training event provided the perfect opportunity to introduce our dealers to our latest compact equipment. Alongside product updates, we also presented state-of-the-art operator technology developments and explained our plans for the future.”
