New loader’s compact dimensions boost tight site work

YANMAR Construction Equipment Europe (CEE) has announced the launch of its V65 wheel loader, which is said to have been designed to “excel” in tight job sites.

The model will be available to order through approved dealers in the UK and Ireland from December.

The V65 completes Yanmar’s wheel loader portfolio. Measuring 2,160mm tall and 1,700mm wide (with bucket), the manufacturer said the loader’s dimensions “guarantee excellent manoeuvrability, a class-leading turning radius and 40° steering angle”.

Yanmar added that rigid articulation allows the bucket to approach the load in a straight line, while an oscillating rear axle keeps all four wheels in contact with the ground, even on uneven terrain. Other features include a Deutz L04 Stage IIIA/Tier 4 Interim-compliant diesel engine, high-pressure hydrostatic drive technology, and a brake inching pedal that allows operators to slow down travel speed while retaining engine RPM for working hydraulic control.

The ROPS/FOPS-approved cabin boasts hydraulic seat suspension, an adjustable steering wheel and ergonomic controls.

Andreas Hactergal, sales and marketing director at Yanmar CEE said, “As the most compact unit in our six-model wheel loader range, the V65 has been specifically designed to excel in tight job sites and densely built-up areas. With numerous features to maximise productivity, the new model delivers excellent lifting, slewing and carrying capability. Alongside ensuring class-leading performance, however, we’ve worked hard to ensure a safe and comfortable user experience. From ergonomic equipment layout and easy-access service points, to excellent visibility from the cab, the V65 is perfect for daily use.

“As with each model in the Yanmar CEE portfolio, the V65 uses premium components to ensure maximum quality and reliability. From materials use to hose routing, intricate design aims to enhance service life and reduce downtime.”
