CHRIS Knight Plant Sales has been appointed a dealer for Yanmar’s crawler excavators in northern Scotland. The Nairn-based business will cover the geographical area from Angus to Caithness.
Yanmar said the appointment was down to “considerable industry experience”, with the dealer “renowned for equipment knowledge and a consultative approach”.
The move is part of Yanmar’s plans to expand its dealer network in the UK and Ireland. Cork-based O’Regan Plant Sales has also been signed up, covering the Republic of Ireland, while Northamptonshire-based Mawsley Machinery will be responsible for distributing Yanmar machines across the East Midlands.
