Snorkel units give access fleet a lift

A UK hire firm has announced an expansion of its access fleet with the additional of Snorkel push-around mini scissor lifts.

Lincs Lifts has taken delivery of the low-level Snorkel S3010Ps, which can lift up to 240kg to a working height of 5.0m. Weighing 370kg, the product features saloon-door style entry gates, an auto-brake system and non-marking casters.

Lincs Lifts, based in Scunthorpe, was founded by Wayne Grainger two years ago and boasts a fleet of almost 200 aerial work platforms. Wayne said, “We are excited to add these new low-level lifts to our ever-expanding fleet. We were impressed by the build quality of these mini scissor lifts, and the simplicity of the units means that they will be easily accepted by our customers within the industrial sector.

“We are also pleased to be supporting British manufacturing and know that we can rely on excellent support from the team at Snorkel UK.”

Andrew Fishburn, managing director at Snorkel UK added, “Wayne is very experienced in the powered access industry, and it has been fantastic to watch the continued growth of Lincs Lift since its launch in 2016. We are pleased to be given this opportunity to help Wayne expand his product offering with the Snorkel S3010P model.”
