GLEN Hampson has been appointed business development manager at Kubota UK’s construction division.
He has previously worked as channel development manager for Doosan Bobcat and regional distribution manager for Caterpillar’s mid-tier earthmoving division in the Middle East and Africa.
Kubota said Glen will be tasked with maintaining and building on the company’s position in the compact construction equipment sector, working key national accounts and its independent dealer network across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.
Kazunari Shimokawa, interim managing director of Kubota UK said, “This is an exciting appointment for Kubota UK as we look to raise the bar in the construction sector. Our goal is to continue to drive the brand forward so it is essential we have the right people in place to help us do this. Glen will play a critical role in helping us achieve our commercial objectives and I wish him every success in his role.”
