HILL Engineering has been named as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’ companies for the fourth successive year.
The attachments specialist received the ‘Gold Standard’ award in the Deloitte BMC Awards Programme after demonstrating “superior business performance”. The achievement was recognised at a gala dinner in Dublin attended by over 1,000 people from the Irish business community.
Ian Hill, managing director of Hill Engineering said, “We are delighted to have won this award for the fourth consecutive year – it’s testament on how we work as a team to move the business forward by working together and listening to what our customers require. We have seen significant growth in the company in recent years and have increased both our market share and our widened our product range in response to customer demand.
“As part of our company expansion we have added new members to our team who continue to strengthen our position in the UK and Ireland and have increased productivity and streamlined the business. We have seen a 30% increase in production capacity and 20% more orders than the same period last year. Exports also are an important part of our business and continue to grow at a steady pace – we are also working with many emerging markets.”
