SOFTWARE specialist inspHire has released new asset tracker functionality that integrates with Trackunit, JCB LiveLink and CanTrack to improve visibility of equipment.
The Asset Tracker functionality amalgamates the locations of a firm’s equipment onto a single map view, using inbuilt Google Maps. Users can pinpoint where their equipment is and plan the movement of kit between sites, optimise depot transfers and improve customer service.
Alongside the Asset Tracker, inspHire has centralised telematics data within its hire management software. The firm said that bringing two systems together empowers users to view and cross reference their telematics and hire data quickly.

inspHire explained that allowing businesses to see when, where and for how long their equipment was operational helps ensure customers aren’t over using equipment and that all the correct meter and mileage based services will be completed. It can also assist in finding missing or stolen equipment.
