MARK Ormond has been appointed managing director of Manitou UK.
He was most recently managing director of the UK subsidiary of tractor specialist SAME Deutz-Fahr and is the current president of the Agricultural Engineers Association.
Manitou said he previously managed UK subsidiaries of other leading European manufacturers and has spent time in the dealer side of the industry.
Mark Ormond said, “I am delighted to join Manitou and look forward to working with the team, and with our dealer network, to continue the great success of the brand in the UK and Irish market.
“My background is agriculture but I look forward to learning about the construction and industrial sectors, and to seeing how I can add value to this highly successful company.”
