MOTHERWELL-based Terex Trucks will be making tracks to Germany shortly to show off its latest articulated hauler – the 28-tonne Gen10 TA300 – at the Steinexpo exhibition.
The four-day event, held at Europe’s largest basalt quarry near Homberg, is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year and begins on August 30.
The TA300 dump truck is being shown to German customers for the first time, with Terex Trucks describing the model as being designed “to work harder for longer” in the most testing of conditions. The EU Stage IV emissions-compliant machine can be utilised for tasks in quarrying, infrastructure and commercial construction and is the second product to be launched by the firm since being acquired by Volvo Construction Equipment.
Features are said to include upgraded hydraulic and electrical interfaces and improved aesthetics to maximise uptime.
The Gen10 TA300 will be showcased at Steinexpo by Klarmann-Lembach, Terex Trucks’ official partner in Germany.
John Mlonek, commercial sales manager at Terex Trucks said, “Steinexpo’s 10th anniversary will no doubt be an impressive event and it serves as the perfect opportunity to introduce the Generation 10 TA300 to all our German customers.
“The new articulated hauler is well suited to various operations that are prominent in the region, and it’s essential for Terex Trucks to continue to build its reputation in such an important market. We are looking forward networking with visitors at the hopefully sunny exhibition.”
