Compact wheeled loader looks pretty in pink

THE world’s first pink Avant 635 compact wheeled loader has been unveiled to help raise money for charity.

Hampshire-based equipment dealers BPMS Ltd produced the machine, which will be on display at all local shows the firm attends this summer before being sold to the highest bidder. All proceeds from the sale will be split betweeen Make-a-Wish Foundation and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The machine features all the benefits of a standard Finnish-built Avant 635. Powered by a 37.5hp Kubota engine, the model has a lift capacity of 1100kgs and a maximum lift height 2.8m, with a top speed of 14km/h.

BPMS directors Claire Smith and Sam Edwards said, “We have all been touched by cancer in some way and we wanted to raise money for both of these very worthwhile charities in our own special way, by producing this amazing pink Avant!”

BPMS will also be holding raffles throughout the summer in which visitors to their stand at various shows could potentially win a replica scale model of the pink machine.

Interested parties can register their interest in the machine and place a bid via the BPMS website.
