Case to showcase the “complete package” at Plantworx

CASE will use this year’s Plantworx exhibition to showcase its “new and upgraded” range of machines, including the first UK appearances for the new C Series mini excavators, upgraded Tier 4 final backhoe loaders and new G Series wheel loaders since their official launches earlier this year.

The manufacturer will also hold the UK heat of its Case Rodeo competition at the event in June. Operators will battle it out for a place at the finals in Paris later this year.

Case described the new C Series minis as offering the “complete package”. Three of the new models will be featured: a CX18C, a CX26C and a CX60C. “Case’s new C Series minis are a technological landmark for the mini excavator market,” the manufacturer said. “Designed specifically with the hire and rental sectors in mind they offer high performance, maximum comfort and improved safety.

“They benefit from proven engines and hydraulic systems that deliver more power and increased performance, and five of the six new models comply with Tier 4 Final emission standards. Daily maintenance is fast and easy, with service points accessible at ground level. Safety features on this range include ROPS, TOPS and FOPS compliance, emergency stop switch, travel alarm and object handling kit, plus outstanding all round visibility, and a rear view camera further enhances safety on the jobsite.”

In its 60th year of wheel loader production, Case said the latest generation of wheel loaders demonstrates continued innovation. There will be three models on display: a 721G MH XR, 821G Z-bar and 1021G Z-bar. Powered by EU Stage IV/Tier 4 Final diesel engines means there is no Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). Visitors will get to see the “revolutionary” new cab, which Case claimed is the firm’s quietest and most comfortable cab ever and has been designed with operator comfort “front of mind”.

The upgraded T Series backhoe loaders will be represented at Plantworx by the 690ST. All three models in the range feature Case’s SCR-only solution, which the manufacturer said ensures a “powerful performance with outstanding fuel efficiency”.
