Eagle makes flying start to 2017

Eagle Plant Hire has started 2017 on a high, placing orders for 21 new Kubota mini-excavators from Young Plant Sales and 12 new rammers from Murray Plant.

The Glasgow equipment hirer, which is now under the sole ownership of Colin Inglis, is also on the lookout for a new business development manager.

The Kubota order includes nine KX015’s, six KX61’s, three KX016’s and three U48’s and means Eagle will have over 70 Kubota machines in its fleet.

Brian Young, managing director of Young Plant Sales said, “We’re delighted to be working with such a highly regarded hire company such as Eagle Plant. As a dealer, we understand how vital it is to maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring the machinery in our fleet meets the required demands in this industry.”

Colin Inglis added, “We’ve been working with Kubota for many years and cannot fault the performance of the excavators and the aftersales service they provide, which is why this deal will bring our number of Kubota’s to 50 machines. We believe our working relationship with them and Young Plant Sales will enable us to thrive as we look forward into 2017.”
