JARVIE Plant held an open day at its recently opened Dundee depot in a bid to attract new business in Tayside.
The firm is already supplying equipment to a number of local projects including the new V&A Museum, which is at the heart of the city’s waterfront regeneration plans.
“We are keen to embed ourselves into the local community and get involved with businesses who have a need for our machines and equipment,” said David Jarvie, business development director.
“By throwing open the doors to our new depot we can connect with our core customers who range from housebuilders to civil engineers and local building contractors.”
Over 200 guests were invited to the event, which involved a dancing JCB display plus vehicles from Jarvie’s sister company, JP Vehicle Rentals.
“We see Tayside as being a ripe environment for business growth and this event will allow us the chance to meet existing customers and build relations with new ones,” David Jarvie added.
