VOLVO is launching several new products at bauma this year including the largest articulated hauler in the firm’s history.

The 55 tonne capacity A60H is designed for heavy hauling in severe off-road operations, including quarries, opencast mines and large earth-moving operations, the company said.

Volvo added that the machine has been engineered to increase uptime, thanks to its heavy-duty front and rear frames, hitch and wet disc brakes.

The machine is powered by a 16 litre Volvo engine, delivering max power of 495 kW and 3,200 Nm of torque. Safety features include “superior visibility” and efficient lighting to keep people safe in demanding environments.

The A60H is one of 16 new products being launched at the show. Other debutants include new excavators, wheel loaders, pavers, haulers and compactors.
